Being an Enterprise-scale business we have to deliver change constantly across processes and systems with numerous multi-million pound projects within our various change programmes and portfolios.

As a result we have one of the largest Business Analyst functions in the country operating a professional service model.

Within our Group IT function we are currently recruiting for Lead Business Analysts with an IT Security background to join our Service Delivery Projects team. The roles could be based out of our Bristol, Halifax or London offices.

As a Lead BA you'd be assigned to regulatory, mandatory and strategic programmes within the Banks Service Delivery Projects area. We're working on an IT Security Programmes in areas such as privileged /role-based systems access, identity management, application security, data leakage, encrypted media and secure file transfers.

Through this role you'd develop subject matter expertise in the systems, tools and processes in operation in this area and build working relationships with the teams who operate these systems for the bank and the customers of the services.

You'll need to have a combination of traditional BA skills in terms of requirements gathering, process re-engineering and modelling but with a more technical background (Developer, DBA or Systems Administrator etc) and exposure to IT Security projects.

You may also ideally have a relevant qualification in this field (eg BCS certificate in Information Security or CISSP) over and above the Business Analytical ISEB or ITIL qualification.

Your knowledge of working with IT Security technologies will help us deliver some major projects but you'll need a strong Business Analysis skill set too - ideally gained within Financial Services and you'll rate process modelling using UML Use Cases and BPMN as one of your strongpoints.

This is a Lead role and therefore experience of planning analysis work and managing other Business Analysts should also be something you have had experience of.

We're a people organisation and so effective stakeholder management skills as well as the interpersonal and leadership skills will play an important part in your success - almost as much as the technical and business analytical skills.

In return we offer the excellent opportunities, benefits and career you'd expect from the UK's largest bank and a structured career programme within this function.
