Our Business Systems Analysts

Our Business Systems Analysts are at the heart of delivering change at Capital One, leading the thinking to shape £multi-million investments. Our analysts find themselves working on initiatives like the launch of new credit products, changes to the way our customers interact with us and improvements to our infrastructure. Working as part of the wider Business Change team in IT our analysts collaborate closely with digital and testing teams as well as broader project stakeholders.

As a Senior Analyst within Business Change you will need to build relationships across our business and within IT to succeed. You will be responsible for solving resourcing challenges and applying a broad perspective across all our investment portfolios.

You will also be an exceptional analyst in your own right with a proven toolkit of techniques allowing you to tackle the wide variety of projects you will support or deliver. You will be a natural communicator and comfortable facilitating workshops and large groups. The role doesn't just stop at analysis though and you'll be involved at every stage of the delivery lifecycle using your expertise to make our projects succeed.

As an experienced Senior Analyst you will already exhibit the following skills and behaviours:

* Exceptional written and verbal communications when communicating to all levels of our business, from project team members to the UK leadership team.

* Proven analytical leadership within IT and across project delivery teams.

* Applied knowledge of what makes IT delivery successful and an ability to contextualise risk across projects.

* An ability to solve complex business problems, recognising patterns and conceptualising processes.

* Detailed knowledge and insights into how IT enables changes that drive business value; backed up by a clear comprehension of cost/benefit analysis.

* A passion for your own development and the drive to constantly improve the teams in which you work and lead.

* Diligence and creativity when ensuring teams remain well managed, efficient and engaged.

Ideally you'll already be working within Financial Services and will be a certified business analysis professional.

Qualifications

* Degree level or equivalent

* ISEB certification
