Our client is a large Energy and Utilities Provider and they are currently recruiting a PMO/Project Manager for a 3 month initial contract based in Nottinghamshire.
This is a hands-off role where the successful candidate's responsibilities will include steering meetings, overseeing workstreams, managing stakeholders, RAID management, managing resource/project plans and budget control.
High level requirements are as follows:
* All the core PM skills e.g. Prince 2 plus
* People skills/political nous
* Experience with Managing the IT Delivery Team and Business
* Ability to operate in a large complex environment
* Utility experience an advantage
* Experience of working within an Agile Environment
* Ability to co-ordinate and drive business readiness activities by various business representatives
* Ability to quickly grasp the detail of complex business processes
