Through your stakeholder & influencing skills you should be able to demonstrate 360 degree communication ranging from senior executive stakeholders to implementation teams, and have experience in leading a team through the Project Management Lifecycle (Study, Design, Build and Test). Ideally you would have gained 10+ years of successfully delivering a range of complex, high profile IT projects (or equivalent), with a proven track record of implementing & leading improvements in project lifecycle.
To qualify, you'll need strong project management experience within a large scale financial organisation (or equivalent). Experienced in managing cost, timescale, quality and benefits realisation requirements with the agreement of Senior Stakeholders, you should also be able to demonstrate your skill in managing individual project risks and maintaining RAID logs. Strong experience in project knowledge and documentation is a must, and you should be versed in documenting benefits management capability for multiple programmes
You will be use to working with third party suppliers and managing stakeholders, backed up by an APM or similar methodology. You should be comfortable in presentation & negotiation
In relation to budget portfolio size we are looking for candidates that have experience of significant portfolio value (5-10 million plus) or equivalent.
It would be desirable if you have good awareness of IT Architectural processes, principles and governance within Financial services and understand the current trends within the IT industry.
Digital experience preferential and Prince II or APM equivalent required.
