Take this exciting opportunity to provide Business Analysis for Direct Line Group (DLG) services; you will take ownership for the Analysis of a specified business opportunity, to identify the people, process and technology requirements. Capturing business requirements and coordinating user scenarios. Providing input to the business and development team on how the new solution will work or impact the organisation.

Corporate Tower

Manages the RUN and Change - i.e. the team is made up of combined Application Development and Application Support teams as well as Change teams (BA's, Project Managers and Programme Managers)

Focus is on Commercial Lines applications/platforms and change as well as Corporate application such as AML, Risk Appls as well as Finance and Data platforms and applications.

Key Accountabilities

-Building and maintaining an in-depth understanding of the business area processes and its stakeholders.

-Working with your stakeholders and building long term relationships, to have an in-depth understanding of the core business system functionality

-You will have the opportunity to investigate, analyse, review, define and document business requirements, utilising context diagrams, mind maps, rich pictures and translating into detailed requirements

-Needing to show and adaptable and flexible approach to gathering requirements using multiple methods.

-Working collaboratively with other CIO functions to support the Business in defining and documenting the technology non-functional requirements.

-Supporting the supplier/solution selection, review contracts drawn up with any third party supplier, ensuring it reflects the requirements of the Business.

-Creation of structured business cases for business change solutions.

-Support the full delivery lifecycle, ensuring business requirements are properly understood and delivered against.

-Coordinate the creation of user scenarios with the business and support testing with business users to enable the definition of UAT test scripts and business sign off.

-Support the implementation of change within governance, achieving relevant approvals and embedding of change.

Skills required for this role are

- Experience of working with internal & External solutions designers

- Looking for a strong 'GI' General Insurance background.

- Experience of leading business change and data Solutions

- Creating Business cases and process mapping

- Strong stakeholder management - up to exec level

- Strong MI, BI and full life cycle from requirement gathering, Delivery and UAT testing.

- Working within an agile & waterfall environment.
