Manchester City Council is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to join it's permanent programme team. The ICT Service at Manchester currently has an number of large scale change programmes and the opportunity has arisen for the right candidate to join the team during an exciting and unprecedented period of both technical and organisational change. The initial assignment will be to the "Digital Workplace Strategy Programme". This programme will provide a new offering to every desk-based and mobile member of staff. The team will deliver quality hardware and software products with the minimum impact to users.

The ideal candidate will have experience of delivering large scale desk-top roll out programmes, ideally to over 5000 users. They could also have experience of operating system upgrades, delivery of new email products and Microsoft Lync and Sharepoint delivery.
