An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Web Designer to join our client who has developed a unique and widely known online portal used to buy and sell boats.

In this challenging role, you'll have the chance to work on a wide range of projects for a variety of customers within the maritime industry.

As a Web Designer, you will be responsible for designing, developing and implementing websites and web-based features for our client's marine customers.

Translating your unique ideas into functional designs, you'll create and build a wide range of websites and applications for customers. Consistently ensuring a high level of design quality, you'll consider UI and UX design principles and write robust programming code to meet business requirements.

You'll update and enhance existing websites and applications, improve and maintain code, and design a variety of eye-catching banners and landing pages. Additionally, you'll test all new sites and applications, as well as providing post-implementation support to customers.

To be considered for this role, you must have:

- Previous web design experience

- Strong graphic design, programming and development skills

- Good XHTML, HTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript and jQuery skills

- Previous WordPress experience

- A solid understanding of design and digital concepts

As a Web Designer, you must be creative and detail-focused with a wide range of innovative and fresh ideas. You must also have superb communication, prioritisation and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
