Dealing with the Past ' Protecting the Future

At the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority we have an enormous responsibility ' the efficient and sustainable clean-up of the UK nuclear legacy. Ultimately our work is about ensuring we leave a safer environment for future generations.

As you can imagine this is a role that requires the highest possible standards as our projects range from closing existing sites through to the responsible construction of new replacement facilities.

As a team we are working to ensure that the contractors we work with are performing to the required standards to achieve best practice and value for money. And as Project Controls Manager you would play a key role in providing analysis and assessment of contractor compliance and performance.

While you don't need a background in the nuclear industry, you should have experience across large complex projects. These might include aerospace or civil engineering projects, and would have involved working with a mix of government and private organisations at a management or senior specialist level.
