About the Team

This is a support engineering role responsible for support and 3rd line fix of business critical mobile application access platforms. The team responsibilities involve 3rd line end to end troubleshooting of mobile data issues nationwide. Providing operational consultancy to help shape the design of products and services.

Your Role

Your role will involve working on new projects dealing with emerging new technologies. Working as a virtual team member to help shape the design, influence test and accepting new products into live operations.

You will be an experienced support professional with a flair for thinking outside the box when problem solving, you should be able to influence individuals and teams and clearly communicate with other areas of the business working independently or as part of a highly skilled technical team.

Responsibilities

-You should have experience of working under pressure on support or project related tasks; being able to provide clear concise instructions and timely updates on any service disruptions, so as to aid restoration of service and manage fault and/or project escalations

-You'll help to safe guard the operational network, protecting the customer experience at all times and preventing revenue impacting outages

-You'll ideally have experience supporting high profile applications, systems and platforms and preferably be from a Telecommunications, Finance, Banking or similar high pressure background

-You'll have experience supporting data centre Unix platforms running Solaris and Linux (Redhat/Centos)

Demonstrable Experience

Working knowledge of one or more of the following mobile access applications is desirable:

-Oracle/Tekelec - Policy & Charging Rules Function (PCRF)

-Citrix - Bytemobile Unison

-Sandvine - Fair Usage Platform

-Redknee - Next Generation Rating & Charging (NGRC)
