Sky AdSmart is a revolutionary new approach to TV advertising and Sky IQ are central to its operation. Until now everyone watching a Sky channel at the same time saw the same adverts, but with Sky AdSmart different adverts can be shown to different households watching the same programme. Sky IQ support the measuring and charging of impressions viewed through the Sky IQ viewing panel, but also support Sky AdSmart in a variety of different ways. We are working with Sky Media to refine and optimise the service, delivering insight on how clients can be better served. We are providing advisory services around the use of data and how to best reach advertisers audiences. We are delivering evaluations that measure the effectiveness of advertisers campaigns, linking to response data, giving advertisers a more precise measure of the impact of their investment in TV. Are you proficient in analytical tools/languages with in-depth knowledge of customer lifecycle management? Are you an expert at delivering originality and expertise into the insight-generation process? Are you confident exploiting of a range of analytical techniques and solving complex business problems? Key responsibilities will include:

-Instil a client-centric, service based culture into the team ensuring accountability for delivery

-Maintain analytical roadmaps for business areas and proactively manage client expectations

-Ensure communications strategy encompasses feedback and measurements of effectiveness

-Deliver insight in a professional manner ensuring focus is on insight consumption and exploitation

-Identify the key issues on which to focus in complex and uncertain situations

-Ensure that all analysis delivery is incremental - over and above existing standard report-Integrate pieces of pertinent information to create new ways of addressing known issues

-Employ the use of mental maps and pictures to explain complex situations with many components

-Come up with solutions to complex issues which 'cut through' protracted solutions

-Identify the key issues on which to focus on in complex and uncertain situations

-Perform as a recognised expert for a specific business area and proactively share personal expertise with members of the team

-Capitalise on practical experience to develop thinking and move the subject area forward

-Support others in owning developmental solutions to problems and issues

-Act to improve effectiveness of team delivery and communications

-Support Analytical Managers by delivering on the communications plan for insight sharing

-Actively participate in the alignment of understanding with other sources of Sky insight

-Manage peer and stakeholder expectation of the deliverability of business goals

For the role, we would be looking for you to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

-Substantial experience of delivering project-based analysis in a Customer Intelligence/ Analytics team

-Experience in mentoring and leading Analysts

-Qualification (or experience to degree standard) in Statistics, Mathematics or Operational Research

-Experience of applying modelling/segmentation techniques within a marketing services environment

-Technical skills of analytical tools or languages (SQL experience is a must) and third party data

-Knowledge of customer lifecycle management techniques and their application

-Stakeholder management experience in a large, complex marketing services environment with a mature approach to client-expectation management

-Experience within a consultative/client-service orientation

-Experience of defining analytical solutions and delivering against them

-Practiced at measuring effectiveness of deliveries

-Conceptualisation skills/knowledge of problem solving techniques

-In-depth knowledge of existing and planned reports

-Experience of the exploitation of a range of analytical techniques and demonstrable experience of solving complex business problems

-Analytical expertise and delivery in multiple relevant business areas

-Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a diverse team

-Experience of delivering 'to plan' in complex analytical environment
