As a Senior Data Core Design Engineer, your actions will enable our customers to access data without compromise. It’s a highly visible position that will give you exposure to the end-to-end architecture, as well as providing plenty of scope to grow within our business.

Working on Mobile Packet Core (MPC) and Enhanced Packet Core (EPC) networks, you’ll be part of a cross-functional team that facilitates the delivery of high quality, scalable and cost effective data core design solutions. Taking a lead on specific platforms (GGSN, SGSN, MME, SAE-GW for example) you’ll get to shape what that looks like by creating solutions designs, managing technology roadmaps, defining capacity plans and more. But as important, you’ll also get to deliver your designs by managing their transition from solution design to validation, implementation and go-live.

Ideally you’re an Engineer or Senior Engineer, with a good working knowledge of 3G MPC elements and its associated interfaces, as well possessing end-to-end experience of 3G networks. You’ll also have proven track record of deploying key network systems from design to operational handover and an up-to-date understanding of the LTE network. But as well as your technical ability, we need someone who can communicate, who has great relationship building skills, who takes the initiative and who appreciates the commercial impact of the work you do.
