The Test Lead manages a team to deliver the business testing for a small project or for a workstream within a large project. They are responsible for ensuring that the solution achieves the outcome defined by the project scope, requirements and business solution design.

You will need previous experience of change project delivery and will have been involved in multiple stages of the project lifecycle including business testing. You will also be competent in the basic skills of project management and will have strong stakeholder management skills.

Finally you should have knowledge of banking and financial products and associated legislation and regulation.

Note: Specialist areas of testing to support delivery may exist in some product areas e.g. Environment management.

Key Accountabilities:

- Attends requirements and design workshops in order to understand the proposed business solution and the requirements it is intended to deliver

- Understands the overall project benefits and desired outcomes and how their area of responsibility contributes to these

- Produces or contributes to the overall test strategy and master test plan for the project and is reviewer of all testing documentation.

- Supports the Test Manager in managing the testing process from project initiation to post implementation review and extended wellness

- Ensures there is a clearly defined testing approach for their area of responsibility and ensure this that is aligned to the overall test strategy and master test plan

- Translates process models ,business requirements and IT documentation into UAT scope and overall test plans.

- Works with business representatives to ensure that all test preparation deliverables are on track -e.g. conditions and scripts and incorporates these into an overall milestone plan.

- Understands their involvement in the cut?over approach and contributes to the go / no go decision making process

- Use an automated approach to testing (using test tools) when appropriate and engage the right supplier where one is not available in house

- Monitors progress against the test deliverables plan, identifies slippage and develops strategies to recover
