In this new and exciting role, we are looking for a Hub Programme Manager to be responsible for the central coordination and support of Northern Rail’s portfolio of priority change projects.
Working in this role you will support the Transition Director in planning and supporting the delivery of key strategic change interventions that have a significant medium to long term business impact. This will require you to provide expert advice on programme management, from concept through to implementation and evaluation, ensuring everything is delivered on time and to budget, whilst supporting a team of Project Managers to generate results.
You’ll be producing detailed project plans to manage interdependencies and help manage risk. You will also be expected to provide regular consolidated reports on project progress and delivery with line of sight to the Northern Director Team and shareholder boards.
To be successful in this role, you should:
- Be an experienced Project Manager with a successful track record in delivery
- Be an excellent communicator and influencer and be an analytical thinker
- Have experience of successfully managing change implementation in a complex environment
- Ideally hold Prince 2 Project Management qualification or equivalent
- Have excellent relationship management and stakeholder management skills
- Have an innovative approach to programme delivery and problem solving
This is a fixed-term role initially for 6 months, with the potential to be extended.
