Joining our Back Office Messaging team, you’ll be responsible for ensuring that we consistently deliver quality support and delivery of the messaging estate. You’ll form part of the out of hours support cover as part of a 24x7 on-call rota and integrate new products and services to help provide a high quality end-to-end service for our customers. Working closely with the Messaging vendors, you’ll maintain the delivery of fixes and releases and report regularly on system and service performance against key quality and availability targets. By collaborating closely with the Engineering, Operations and Product & Marketing teams, you’ll align and develop within the business objectives while continuing to progress technical and professional expertise through formal learning and experience. You’ll then share this knowledge and experience with the rest of the team in order to benefit the company as a whole.

Technical experience of Messaging solutions in either an operational or development organisation is key. As is experience of supporting and maintaining Acision Voicemail, MMS and LCMG platforms. A good technical understanding of the role of DNS in an IP network as well as competence in a Unix/Linux environment is essential. A broad experience of messaging technologies and their applications in a 3G/4G mobile operator environment along with a clear understanding of moves, changes, installations, relocations and strategic or business related projects is required. You’ll have 4+ years experience in systems development, integration support or maintenance of Telco grade high availability architectures and an HNC/HND/BSc/B Eng or equivalent would be ideal.
