About the Team

The team are here to support development of the automated optimisation solutions and tools to be used within the Radio Access Network. Here to revolutionise how we do things, making things far slicker and effective for the network to operate.

Your Role

As RAN Optimisation Solutions Specialist you’ll be involved in some exciting stuff. You’ll play a key role in delivering quality and efficiency improvements to the Radio Network, you’ll initiate and run quality investigations, providing expert recommendations for improvements to our vast Network, as well as taking the lead on new solutions development and implementation.

Responsibilities

Provide technical expert knowledge when analysing a new and existing RAN solutions Contribute to RFI/RFQ/RFP assessment and provide recommendations where appropriate Prepare and present technical solutions overviews Interface and provide technical information to internal radio teams and other relevant stakeholders To keep abreast of new developments and techniques in the technologies field. Attendance at solutions project and technology meetings. Some travel will be required. Timely analysis & reporting of developments Support full cycle of the solution development and implementation

Demonstrable Experience

Comprehensive knowledge of Radio Access Networks technology (including 2G/3G/LTE) Proven experience of Vendors tools sets, operational languages and protocols (Ericsson, Nokia, Huawei). Detailed knowledge of C-SON and Automated solutions Detailed knowledge of Radio Vendors OSS platforms and its operations. Experience in OSS and OAM platforms integrations. Experience of documenting and presenting technical solutions / features etc. Effective communicator and exceptional stakeholder management Ideally have an engineering degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Mathematics, Telecoms or any related discipline
