Nuffield Health are currently seeking a permanent full time Project Manager to join their flagship Head Office, based in Epsom, Surrey.

The role will be working within the developing IT department, providing effective leadership and concurrent management of one or more assigned projects within the portfolio. The role reports directly into a business division, however matrix management of other departments including IT staff is key to the success of this role.

Duties and responsibilities will include:

- Leading key business change throughout the Project Lifecycle:

- Managing the successful set up of projects - project planning and definition

- Manage the sourcing and supplier evaluation

- Manage the delivery of assigned IT projects

- Maintain the quality and compliance standards for all projects

- Coordination of all project resources including contractors and suppliers

- Ensure that guidelines for standardisation, simplification and alignment to organisational IT and architectural strategies are followed

- Project Managing with good governance and appropriate controls i.e. PIDs, Reports, Plans, Budget, Risks & Issues etc

Skills, Qualifications and Experience required include:

- Previous experience of Project Management (programme office management / portfolio management) with multiple projects and varied methodologies

- Experience in managing third party software suppliers to deliver business systems

- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with a flexible approach to suit the needs of different audiences

- A relevant qualification (e.g PRINCE2 or ITIL), degree or equivalent

- Demonstrable track record negotiating and managing multiple 3rd parties involved in creating and improving key strategic Services

- An understanding of IS application development & service delivery would be advantageous

In addition to the specified skills, we are seeking an individual who is methodical, thorough and well-organised, with an ability to think analytically.
