Role: BI Analyst

Contract Length: 3 Months Contract (Likely Extension)

Location: South West

Rate: £300-375pd

My client is a company based in the South West, who are looking to support their organisational growth and strategic decision makers through bringing in a highly skilled analyst to join their ever growing BI team. The primary focus of this role will be centralised around identifying relevant report requirements and develop them using tools such as SSRS.

The role itself will be based at in the South West, initially for three months with likely extension to follow.

The successful candidate will be responsible for gathering relevant requirements to take back to the IS department to produce provide reports to give actionable insight to management and strategic decision makers.

The ideal candidate for the BI Analyst role will have the following skills and experience:

Essential:

* Requirements gathering

* Extensive Project and Business Analysis experience

* Requirements gathering covering all business areas

* Experience of BI Reporting requirements

* Experience of workshop facilitation

* Produce Business Requirements

* Produce Functional Specifications

* Strong stakeholder management

* Master Data Management (no particular product but must have a sound subject knowledge)

* SQL Server Reporting Services (2008 R8/2012)

* The ideal candidate should be able to join the team and hit the ground running, be self sufficient and self motivated.

Desirable

* Experience with the full MS SQL Stack (SSIS, SSAS) highly beneficial.
