Our Client is looking for an experienced UX Designer / Web Designer to become a key

member of our team. You will be working closely with the development team to develop their

new eBook platform and other existing services at what is a very exciting time for the business

You'll have knowledge of current and upcoming digital technologies with proven experience in user experience and design. You will be responsible for determining the UX across multiple platforms and devices and developing solutions that balance the user needs with the business and technical requirements of the project. You'll be passionate about how and why people use products, how to find solutions that will engage with our audience and about making the world a better place.

You'll have a superb portfolio of work showcasing your experience in UX and design for web and mobile devices. You will be responsible for determining the look and feel of our product across multiple platforms and devices and developing visual solutions that balance the user needs with the business and technical requirements of the project. You'll be passionate about design and interaction, how to create a visual journey that will engage with our audience and about making the world a better place.

The Web Designer will work to the Head of Digital and alongside the development team.

Skills

At least 3 years experience in web design

- Experience developing all aspects of UX/design on projects

- Fluency in design software, such as Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator

- Ability to create original user flows, wireframes and designs for web, mobile and

services

- Strong design style, including creative design solutions within the constraints of the

Internet

- Strong conceptual skills, including online software concepts and online experience

concepts

- Strong understanding of how web-based technologies apply to web design, structure and functionality

- Ability to wireframe and design within the existing branding guidelines but push the

boundaries where required.

- Experience of delivering UX/design assets for print as well as digital

- Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks of varying complexities, meet deadlines

and work well under pressure

- Ability to build prototypes for user testing and run and report on user testing

sessions

- Excellent organization and communication skills
