Everyone here works as one to ensure the stability of the UK’s economy. Technology plays a huge role in our productivity and success. You’ll make sure that we continue moving forward.

The challenge

Your aim will be to ensure that our Information Service and Technology Division responds effectively to the business needs of some of our most critical departments. You’ll achieve this by working closely with each department - understanding priorities and identifying key needs, before working with technology colleagues to deliver the necessary systems. As such, the analysis and insight you provide will be as valuable as the relationships you build.

The requirements

To excel, you’ll need to be an outstanding communicator and relationship builder, with a solid understanding of project and systems development lifecycles. A track record in using business analysis and models to influence key decisions is a must, as is knowledge of project management documents such as project and communication plans. What’s more, you must be comfortable working with colleagues both within an information technology setting and across multiple business functions.

The opportunity

Our aim has been the same for 300 years; to maintain a stable economy for the people of the UK. But how we’ve done this has evolved constantly. Today, driven by technology, it’s changing faster than ever before. You’ll keep this going. Joining our diverse and expert IT team, you’ll help people across the Bank work more securely and effectively, wherever they are. This will allow us to keep making the progress that really matters - which is why we’ll give you the training and support you need to make progress too.
