We are seeking talented Programme Managers in;

Digital - London

(Experience of digital delivery (online & mobile) in a matrix managed project environment, underpinned by a strong understanding of digital technologies and delivery approaches suitable in an agile environment of rapid change)

Customer Operations - Edinburgh

Commercial - Edinburgh and London

Retail - Halifax

Can you:-

- Lead, direct and control the delivery of diverse cross divisional programmes?

- Shape and lead major change initiatives which implement business strategies?

- Optimise resources across programmes and projects to ensure delivery to agreed business plans within cost, quality and timescale objectives?

- Ensure that the benefits identified in the business case can be realised?

- Create, lead and develop a high performing team of change professionals as a matrix programme team?

If so, then you'll never be short of a new challenge. You'll be responsible for all aspects of leading and delivering large, complex and cross divisional programmes.

Role accountabilities;

- To feed into business study/programme proposals and business cases, ensuring alignment with business strategy. Typically Gold/Silver Programmes.

- Works with the business to define and agree programme/project benefits and to confirm that outputs and outcomes will support their realisation.

- Deliver to an appropriate programme governance structure, with different levels of stakeholder input, to effectively control each project and workstream whilst exercising optimal control at the programme level.

- Works closely with the Accountable Executive to provide regular status reporting and solutions driven contingency plans.

- Provide a programme control framework aligned with project and programme management processes and methodologies, within which costs, benefits, risks, issues, standards and quality can be measured and within which Project Managers can coordinate their activities.

- Drive progress against the programme plan; understands, challenges and proactively manages the cost position; and acts to mitigate potential cost or time delays.

- Identify and secure appropriate resources to work on the programme or project; defines clear roles and responsibilities for all team members including specific responsibility for production of all deliverables.

- Engage with a diverse group of stakeholders to influence direction of programmes/projects to meet business goals.

- Lead, motivate, develop and coach team members to create a high performing team.

To qualify, you'll need experience of leading a range of significant programmes and projects, working with third party suppliers and managing stakeholders, supported by qualifications such as MSP (Managing Successful Programmes), APMP or similar methodology.
