One of the largest cargo, logistics and freight businesses in the world, IAG Cargo is an exciting organisation that brings together two of the industry’s leading brands - Iberia Cargo and British Airways World Cargo. In terms of IT, our portfolio supports key initiatives in IAG Cargo’s strategic plan, with around 40 applications supporting the business and c. €5m pa investment. It's here that we need your business project management expertise.

Your primary responsibility will be to successfully deliver projects arising from regulatory, legislative, process changes or new commercial launches. However we’ll also look to you to manage change across systems and business functions in line with the Cargo IT portfolio. Managing our relationships with external suppliers during the project lifecycle and carrying out contract reviews will be important too, as will working with stakeholders to specify and design solutions to meet business needs. And, because it’s a cross-functional role that involves co-ordinating virtual teams, you could find yourself working within BA and IB Corporate, at our cargo business in London and Madrid or on a project secondment to any of our global network cities.

To make the role yours, you’ll need great technical ability, lots of business acumen and flexibility in working alongside BA & Iberia IT, procurement, external suppliers, customers and cargo line managers. Proven experience of delivering change projects is vital too, as is the ability to manage business IT change in a unionised and continuous improvement operational environment. A customer focused team player with excellent communication skills, you’re used to leading management and workforce buy in to change, while supplier and stakeholder management also comes naturally to you. And, when it comes to business analysis and using data to support decision-making, again, you know your stuff.
