Digital Designer - HTML, CSS, JavaScript

Our client, a well-established IT solutions company, provides exceptional desktop and internet software for the travel industry. Due to expansion, they are now looking for a Digital Designer to join their team.

This is a superb opportunity for a hard-working individual with great HTML, CSS and JavaScript skills to gain valuable experience and develop their career prospects within a friendly and supportive environment.

Joining a welcoming and talented team, you will play the highly important role of designing how users experience and interact with customers’ businesses via the web.

As a Digital Designer, you will be responsible for assisting with the design, development and maintenance of our client’s internal website and customer websites.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will construct new websites, creating an engaging and enjoyable user experience for those visiting the site.

You will maintain the company website using our client’s content management system and respond to daily web-related enquires.

Additionally, you will assist and train colleagues in web authoring to share knowledge and maximise efficiency throughout the business.

To be considered for this role, you must have:

- Experience of website creation, design, maintenance and authorisation, gained commercially or through project work

- Proven experience of using content management systems, ideally Joomla

- Strong working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Adobe Dreamweaver and Photoshop

Enthusiastic and proactive, as a Digital Designer, you must have exceptional time-management, problem-solving and communication skills, both written and verbal.

Experience of jQuery would be beneficial to your application. A strong understanding of Adobe Creative Suite would also be advantageous, as would experience of web analysis software.
