Head Planner
Foster + Partners are an award winning global Architecture and Design Practice based in South West London and we currently have an excellent opportunity for someone to join our Management Group as the Company’s Head Planner.
We are looking for someone with a strong planning background who understands the architectural design and construction process and the cost implications throughout all phases.
You will be working on some of the highest profile architecture projects in the world, in a senior position that comes with a great deal of responsibility.
Some of the responsibilities of this position will be:
To manage the process of producing resource estimates to inform fee memos for potential projects.
To produce man hour calculations required for external bid documents
To input key information into the main board memo data base for later analysis
To write the reports to enable planning and resource data to be extracted from the Accounts Management System
To produce detailed design programmes and interpret external programmes as required
To supervise the Planning team
The successful applicant will come from an architectural, construction or engineering background and have previous experience supervising a successful team.
Key attributes required include:
A methodical, accurate and consistent attention to detail
Strong numerical skills
Competency in all Microsoft products with strong emphasis on Excel
A resilient nature, able to work well under pressure to meet high demands
Good understanding of the business flow
Excellent interpersonal and team management skills
Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK
This position comes with an immediate start date, and salary is dependent on experience.
