Our vision is to make Lloyds Banking Group the best bank for customers. As the UK's largest retail and commercial bank, we have a footprint that touches nearly every community and household in the UK. That gives us a big responsibility to support the UK economy, and to put customers at the heart of everything we do. To achieve this, we also need to be the best bank for our colleagues and our communities - and we have a clear strategy in place to make this a reality. We are building on our many strengths: iconic brands, strong heritages and great people. To unlock the great potential in our business, we are becoming more efficient, more transparent, and more responsive to customers. Already the UK's largest community investor, we are giving even more back. Above all, we are putting customers first.

At Lloyds Banking Group our vision is to be the best bank for our customers. By putting customers first, keeping banking simple and making a difference together, we'll help Britain prosper.

This is a great opportunity to work in an area of Lloyds Banking Group critical in driving change across its IT function through standardisation, simplification and automation.

Specifically, the role will be to lead the delivery, exploitation and technical consultancy for the HP Server Automation (SA) toolset, including Operations Orchestration (OO) and Cloud Service Automation (CSA). This includes the installation, configuration, maintenance and administration of SA across all supported platforms (currently UNIX and Windows).

You will provide input into the improvement of services and processes and the mitigation of risks associated with the SA environments. You will also work closely with technical platform teams to deliver their automation requirements. Creation of OO flows and CSA content as required.

To succeed in this role, you must have working experience maintaining and developing on the following toolsets:

- HP Server Automation

- HP Cloud Service Automation

- HP Operations Orchestration

Whether you're working independently or as part of a team, you will provide efficient, effective solutions and share your knowledge of best practice to ensure ongoing improvement. Along the way, you'll work with a range of key stakeholders.

To be equal to the challenge, you'll need strong customer service skills. Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) are essential to succeed, and you should be use to managing and maintain agreed project plans.

In return, we'll recognise and reward your performance. Our award-winning benefits package includes a flexible option that allows you to choose cash or pick from a wide range of benefits. These include a contributory pension scheme, private medical insurance and retail discount vouchers. You'll also have our full support, training and opportunities for both personal and professional development.

The role can be based in Halifax (Copley), Edinburgh, London, Bristol, or Manchester.
