IT Business Analyst (Hospitals)

Nuffield Health has run independent 'not-for-profit' hospitals for over 50 years, and with 31 hospitals around the UK we treated more than 450,000 patients in 2013.

We are now investing in a major refresh of the technology which supports the business and clinical operations within our hospitals estate, including the recent rollout of a group-wide PACS/RIS applications, a refreshed Wireless Infrastructure and the current replacement of our estate of desktop and mobile devices.

As part of this programme we are now commencing a programme to select and implement a New Electronic Patient based Administrative and Health record (PAS/EPR) across our network of sites to support our staff and Consultants in their delivery of safe, effective and quality care to our patients. This will transform our business over the months and years ahead to provide our people and our patients with the very best tools and information.

This exciting programme to select and implement the new applications is now underway and require a number of Business Analysts to work in the following areas:

- Business Analysis and Requirements Definition

- Stakeholder interview and workshop facilitation

- Business Process - As Is and Target Process mapping

- Change Management & planning

- Testing

- Planning

- Data Manipulation and Migration

Skills and Experience required include:

- Extensive Business Analysis experience

- Experience of one or more Hospital Application domains - eg PAS / EPR / ePrescribing/ Pharmacy /Radiology / Laboratory applications

- Process Mapping skills

- Competent in Requirements Analysis and precise documentation

- Articulate and confident in dealing with wide range of Stakeholders

- Ability to challenge constructively

- Ability to plan effectively and deliver to agreed deadlines
