With a constant stream of varied and fascinating projects, you could play a part in re-engineering everything from HR processes to the ways we bring in new business within Surrey County Councils award winning Shared Service Centre. We are championing partnerships with other local councils and public sector organisations, so Shared Services is a big part of our future. You will be at the heart of transforming public sector back office and driving efficiency. That means incredible diversity and complexity of projects is assured, as is a huge scope to innovate.
But this is not just about solving today’s challenges. You will also lay the building blocks for tomorrow. Crucially, you will stick around to see them implemented, and continue to refine, improve and, where necessary, transform. You will be able to experience the whole project lifecycle helping define the strategy and direction of the service.
You will join the Shared Services project team who has the remit to drive improvements across the back office. You will benefit from excellent opportunities to train, gain qualifications and progress professionally.
To be equal to the challenge, you will need a proven track record in project management. We’ll expect you to demonstrate a deep understanding of HR, whether as an HR professional or having worked on HR systems from an IT perspective. Empathetic and influential, you have what it takes to forge strong and impactful relationships, with colleagues, customers? and stakeholders alike.
