Role

As Principal Sponsor, the primary aim of your role will be to act as the Sponsor’s agent for station development schemes working closely with TfL and Network Rail. In this role you will be assisting in representing and protecting TfL’s stakeholder, customer and operational interests in the planning and implementation of Crossrail/HS2 projects, so that the impacts of those projects are understood across the TfL business, and TfL’s requirements specified and adopted.

You will work with key stakeholders and other transport providers, so that Crossrail/HS2 is successfully integrated in terms of current and future customer needs and preferences and usage across the public transport network. The Principal Sponsor will also assist in the development and delivery of plans that will improve London’s station and interchanges by improving capacity and access, customer service and operational capability through the interface with the Crossrail/HS2 Project. This includes sponsoring a programme of major station works, as part of the LU Plan, working closely with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders to understand business constraints and needs, and to identify and exploit new opportunities. In this role you will be required to liaise across TfL and with other external parties to promote TfL’s interests.

The Principal Sponsor will be required to support the Sponsor with the sponsorship, development and delivery of multi-modal station and interchange plans.
