BRIEF DEPARTMENT/FUNCTION DESCRIPTION:

BRIEF JOB DESCRIPTION:

As PMO Analyst you’ll be key in ensuring the team continue to deliver quality programme management for our private to public sector programmes. The person appointed will work within the team ensure that all projects and programmes are supported throughout their lifecycle. As well as this, you will be working closely with the Head of PMO in defining and updating the project management processes, standards and governance.

RESPONSIBILITIES/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

Main Responsibilities

Implement governance standards across the Programme, including tracking, monitoring and updating the status of programme deliverablesManage the programme level risks and issues registerUpdate and administer the programme plan, reports and KPI’s as requiredStakeholder Management - Maintaining a list of overall stakeholders and their interest [Stakeholder map]. Actively managing the stakeholder management action planCarry out assurance reviews as required by the Head of PMOQuality control - establishing consistent practices and standards including governance mechanisms, Programme and Project approval gating and on-going compliance to the O2 Change Process lifecycle Manage communications from the PMO mailbox including regular reporting cycle requestsComply at all times with Operations and O2 UK policies and procedures, including health & safety, conduct, security, attendance, equality of opportunity, & time recording

Skills and Experience required

Proven track record of successfully delivering administration and coordination within PMO services for projects / programmesKnowledge of PMO Services, PMO processes/methods, industry best practice, Prince2 MethodologyStrong MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project, & SharePoint skillsExperience in use of Project Control Tools such as Clarity, SharePointProven track record of facing into Public Sector organisations and/or non-telecoms industry partners desirableGood high level IT and Telco network understandingStrong communication skills including coordination skills, good personal presentation, oral and written communication skills and the ability to challenge when necessaryDisciplined work approach including the ability to work to deadlines, whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy is essentialExperience in a customer service environment
