business change project manager - 3 year fixed term contract
Are you an experienced project manager with a track record of successfully delivering major projects for large organisations? We’re looking for talented and passionate business change professionals who can use their expertise to help us to deliver an even better service to our customers - and over a million people contact us every year, so it’s a significant challenge.
We’re the Financial Ombudsman Service - an independent organisation set up to sort out disputes between financial services businesses and their customers. When a consumer has a complaint that they can’t settle with the business, they can come to us. We’re here to act fairly, reasonably and impartially - and our service is free for consumers to use.
We’re constantly adapting and improving the way we work at the ombudsman to respond to the evolving demands of our customers and new issues in the financial services industry. To make sure we’re capable of implementing the necessary change and continue to provide an excellent service, we need experienced business change project managers to analyse and scope our requirements and see projects through to a successful conclusion.
To succeed in this role, you’ll be able to demonstrate your ability to deliver major projects using a range of project management methodologies. And it’s essential that you can work effectively with senior managers to get their support for your ideas and approach. Using your excellent communication skills, analytical mind and passion to deliver change, you’ll help to drive through the ombudsman’s ambitious change agenda.
And what can we offer you in return? On top of the starting salary and standard benefits including a generous non-contributory pension, you can also choose the flexible benefits that best suit you and your life. And very importantly, you’ll get the chance to make a positive difference every day at the heart of an organisation which is providing a valued service to society.
When we recruit, we actively look for people from a wide range of backgrounds because we want our people to reflect the diversity of those whose complaints we settle. This keeps us in touch and connected - and able to see both sides of every story. We also do our very best to support those who need us to adapt to their circumstances - whether it’s our people, customers or job applicants.
So if you think you’ve got the kinds of skills and experience we’re looking for, "apply now" to find out more.
