The Network Rail story is going from strength to strength. We’re currently working on two of the most significant infrastructure projects ever undertaken in the UK: Crossrail and the Great Western Railway Modernisation. Crossrail is a multi-billion pound project creating new connections from the west of England to London. The Great Western Railway Modernisation will see the electrification of the line between London, Oxford and Bristol by 2016 and on to Cardiff by 2017.

For passengers this means new longer, cleaner trains making more and faster journeys on what is now one of Europe’s safest railways. For you this means the opportunity to play a leading role in the Network Rail story.

Right now, we have opportunities for Project Managers and Scheme Project Managers.

As Project Manager, We’ll look to you to ensure safety every step of the way as you lead the delivery of projects, including change projects, to cost, time and quality objectives. You’ll provide a first-class service including project monitoring and reporting, control of project change, risks and contingency and development of safety plans. You’ll also contribute to the development of supply strategies and framework contracts.

A motivational leader with excellent interpersonal skills, you will bring an impressive track record of success, including project and safety management. Ideally educated to HNC, HND, or equivalent, you will bring a sound understanding of commercial, financial, safety, quality and environmental procedures.
