Rugby Borough Council’s ICT department are looking to recruit two trainees on a two year fixed term basis as part of its ongoing commitment to providing development to those looking to start their career in IT.

We are looking for bright and dynamic individuals who either hold a degree in an IT related subject or who have relevant vocational qualifications. Candidates that hold a non-ICT related degree who can demonstrate they have sufficient IT knowledge and aptitude are also welcome to apply.

ICT within the Council is undergoing significant change under the direction of a new Corporate ICT Manager, with a vision to be a proactive, dynamic and commercially minded service. Candidates joining at this time will have an opportunity to be in the thick of the changes, helping drive successful transformation and gaining valuable experience in the process.

With a wide and varied remit, the ICT service can offer personal development across a large number of ICT disciplines, including ICT Service Desk, Server and Infrastructure Management, Security, Account Management, Application Development, Projects and many more.
