Project Manager required in West Yorkshire

Job title: Project Manager

Location: West Yorkshire

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 + benefits (including car allowance) depending on experience

The role

My client is a world class provider of engineering services within the utilities, civil engineering and construction sectors. They are currently seeking a Project Manager to join their specialist substations team in West Yorkshire. You will be responsible for projects within driving distance of your office base.

Responsibilities include:

* Managing multiple and/or major projects safely, competently, and effectively to time and budget.

* Managing all financial aspects of projects.

* Ensuring extra works are costed and invoiced.

* Providing cost value reconciliation for projects/contracts.

* Ensuring all sub-contracts are approved in line with Freedom Group's company policies.

* Ensuring project meets all current legislation HASAWA, NRSWA C.O.S.H.H. etc.

* Assisting in costing schemes for quotation as required.

Essential skills and requirements

The ideal Project Manager will:

* Have Project Management experience

* Have a formal qualification in Project Management

* Have a background in Civil Engineering

* Be interested in moving into the Power Transmission & Distribution sector (experience here not essential)
