Programme Manager required. Programme Manager required for 12 month contract with our market leading client based in Exeter. As Programme Manager you will have extensive experience delivering technology refresh programmes, and have a proven track-record installing programme governance guidelines and best practices.
Within the position, the Programme Manager will be responsible for managing multiple work streams within the technical refresh and asset renewal programme, which encompasses the organisations entire network and infrastructure technology stack.
The Programme Manager will also be responsible for the day-to-day management of external 3rd party vendors, key stakeholder relationships, and various Project Managers so unrivalled communication skills are essential.
It is highly desirable that the Programme Manager will be a seasoned Prince II and / or MSP practitioner with a proven track-record in both programme management and in BAU Operational roles.
To summarise, the Programme Manager will possess the following skills and experience:
* Proven track record working as a Programme Manager in enterprise environments
* Experience working in operational roles which also places focus on delivering BAU activities across IT services
* Good track-record delivering technology refresh programmes
* Considerable experience installing programme governance guidelines and best practices
* Defining deliverables, resource requirements and project plans
* Monitoring and managing project and stage progress
* Management of project budgets and ensure the project is delivered within budget and on time
* Management and implementation of quality plans and communication plans to ensure project meets quality criteria
* Experienced Prince 2 or MSP practitioner
