This role offers an excellent opportunity to be part of a front line, high value, critical team with fantastic rounded exposure to entire LBG IT estate; gaining experience of industry standard and bespoke technology, tools and processes in a high visibility, dynamic and rewarding professional environment.

This is an opportunity to join the team supporting the Corporate banking and the Trade operations suite of applications.

You will be use to working in a fast paced technical environment, and will be managing and motivating a range of technical staff within this community (including offshore). You will be use to working with a large range of internal and external customers adept at translating the customer requirements into highly specified project designs through your strong communication and influencing skills. You will be identifying options for potential solutions and assessing them for both technical and business suitability.

As part of your programme management skills you will ensure budgets and deadlines are met whilst you oversee the implementation of changes. It is important that you keep up to date with technical and industry sector developments.

To be successful in this role you should have practical experience in software development together with experience of delivering medium to complex sized projects. You should also understand Software design methodologies (e.g. UML) and software engineering. Functional and/or non functional testing experience is required.

We are looking for individuals that have experience in one or more of the following technologies:

- Unix / Linux

- Jasper reports

- Java

- J2EE

- Oracle

- XML

- MQ

- .net

It would be beneficial if you also had experience in one of the following

- Knowledge of Misys TI Plus application

- Datastage

- Connect Direct

- IBM Rational toolset

To be equal to the challenge, you'll need specialist knowledge, together with insight into products and procedures. As a skilled technical analyst, you're familiar with various software applications. Highly organised and self-motivated, you have a flair for change management.
