A successful and highly regarded business in the Construction sector is currently recruiting for a systems Project Management role to oversee and lead on a number of strategic new projects. You will be joining a friendly, dynamic and forward thinking company, where you will be a key part of the leadership team.

You will be responsible for managing in the short term an outsourced development team while building a development team around you. We see this role developing to CTO as the company expands.

Responsibilities:

- Manage all aspects of the project (PID creation, scope definition, Objectives, benefits, timeline, budgets, resourcing, communication);

- Manage the internal and external development team;

- Manage Ms Dynamics CRM and NAV development teams as well as web and App developers;

- Create and maintain project plans that communicate tasks, milestone dates, risks, status and resource allocation to project stakeholders;

- Maintain project schedule and cost by monitoring project progress;

- coordinating activities;

- resolving problems and provide regular updates to stakeholders;

- Weekly management of project tasks and actions;

- Provide project progress reports to project team, stakeholders, and management;

- Highlight potential and existing risks, develop mitigation strategy and drives issues to resolution.

Software Project Manager - Approach / Characteristics

Software Project Manager - Desired Skills & Experience

- Educated to degree level or equivalent, in a technical or business discipline

- Financial software / ERP project management experience;

- Certified to Prince2 Practitioner or equivalent;

- Experience of using Microsoft Project and TeamworkPM;

- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously;

- Strong speaking, writing, presentation and organisational skills;

- Exposure to scalable solutions (medium - large organisations);

- Knowledge of Financial applications and processes
