General Description

Overall Job Purpose

The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for the management of projects up to £3m from receipt of order to handover to the customer, including management of the design, procurement, Manufacturing, Expediting, Contract and Commercial correspondence , commissioning , Handover and Finance, aiming always to deliver the project safely, to the correct quality within time , to contracted requirements and on budget.

The position will require the Senior project manager to;

- Mentor other PM’s in their region.

- Manage the development of the project teams

- Recognise areas for internal improvement and develop plans for implementation.

They will meet with the customer to agree the project programme and design requirements, gain approval for design and oversee any amendments before giving instructions to manufacturers , often in house but sometimes sub-contractors. The product is then delivered to site where the Project Manager oversees the correct installation and manage any end of contract issues.
