Our client is an innovative and fast growing company with a truly global footprint. Due to the customer growth, they are looking urgently for highly motivated candidates experienced in and committed to the field of Application/Technical Support.

We are looking for candidates with previous Software or Application Support experience. Our client has bespoke software you will be trained up on and you will provide a range of technical support activities.

Responsibilities

- Updating and managing Knowledgebase

- Passing on feedback to developers, working with Jira bug tracking system

- Take calls and service ticket requests on a service desk

- Identify, resolve or manage the resolution of system issues

- Manage escalation processes of issues to 3rd line and Development

- Communicate to Level 1 and level 3 teams keeping clients and management informed

- Seek more information, by asking the right questions to collect information to resolve this problem or pass onto a specialist

- Resolve physical layer issues such as passwords, access to applications, verification of hardware set-up

- Familiar working with automated system monitoring applications across large networks

- Own and track tickets within SLAs skills

So if you are a team player with strong communication skills, experience in providing customer support and strong technical skills, having aptitude to troubleshoot issues, identify workarounds and solutions, as well as juggle several tasks at a time - you are the candidate we are looking for.

Essential skills:

- 1+ year(s) of experience in a relevant position;

- Demonstrated success at troubleshooting and excellent communication skills

- Good understanding of customer relations using issue solving process;

*T-SQL

*Linux/UNIX systems

*Computer networking, protocols of application and transport layers, especially HTTP

*Windows server

Desirable:

- Familiarity with JSON, Javascript or XML syntax

- Working knowledge of MongoDB

- Work experience with workflow solutions

- Familiarity with graphics and video editing software

- Knowledge and experience working with packet analyser programs

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent tertiary qualification or certification
