Analysing and understanding our current business change requirements, assessing their impact, capturing and documenting them and supporting their communication and delivery are at the heart of this Business Analyst role. Reporting to our Head of IT Projects, your key accountabilities as IT Business Analyst will involve:

- developing functional and system design specifications to support - even drive - technical innovation

- evaluating supplier solutions to ensure they support our strategic direction

- working in partnership with the business to communicate and apply project standards ensuring they are executed on-time, within budget and deliver the proposed business benefits.

Ideally educated to Degree level, you have an extensive business analysis track record, managing projects in excess of £50k using recognised project management processes. Together with knowledge of ITIL processes and business analysis techniques (UML/EPC), you have a sound grasp of application programming, database and system design, with an understanding of internet, Intranet and client/server architectures. Additionally, you get how legacy and web-based systems interface with each other. Able to take a creative approach to problem-solving and manage the innovative change process, you’re a great all-round communicator with proven leadership skills, who can also bring:

- a high level of commercial awareness

- credibility with suppliers

- the ability to develop relationships at all levels that foster trust

- strong MS Office skills including Project and Visio.
