As a Network Engineer, you’ll join the team of Network experts who make using the mobile internet a pleasure - and not a chore - for our customers. It’s a dual role where you’ll get to flex your technical support skills, as well as contribute to our operational development. So on the one hand you’ll be providing 3rd level technical support, fixing a routing issue, liaising with vendors and working with our partners to optimise traffic flow. Whilst on the other hand, you’ll be tackling critical design projects by assessing design ideas, making sure they’re operationally sound and then bringing those solutions to life. Yet whatever you’re doing, you’ll do it at a best-practice level so that you’re delivering an ideal end-to-end service.

As an experienced network engineer, you’ll definitely need exceptional Cisco IOS or Juniper JUNOS skills. In addition, we’d like to see some of the following: Huawei NE40 platforms; Cisco ACE and CSM; routing protocols such as RIP, OSPF, IS-IS, BGP, MPLS; knowledge of high availability switching and routing environments such as HSRP and any TCP/IP technologies. As this is an operational role, you’ll be expected to provide out-of-hours support.
