- Salary range from £48,861 - £62,434 dependent on skills and experience

Our Lead Business Analysts are crucial to the success of this journey by leading others and being at the forefront of programmes helping the Practice & the business turn ideas into action.

Who we're looking for

Firstly you must enjoy all areas of advanced business analysis, from early doors discussion in shaping and scoping a business need, right through to leading your team through the project lifecycle. In addition to this you will have the accountability for making sure the business are ready for their implementation and managing your senior stakeholders.

We're looking for individuals with the awareness and confidence to challenge appropriately and to work collaboratively with all colleagues including 3rd parties across the project lifecycle.

You'll be able to quickly develop an excellent understanding of business processes and have experience working with ambiguity in a fast paced, often challenging environment.

As a minimum requirement you'll have:

- Extensive experience as a Lead Business Analyst

- Possess excellent communication and influencing skills

- Possess good commercial awareness and can demonstrate delivery across multiple business functions and industries

- The gravitas to engage with stakeholders at all levels

- Experience of leading business analysis teams to deliver against business analysis plans

- Expert knowledge of analysis tools, methodology and best practice and will be able to apply structured analysis expertise on assigned projects

- Experience working with 3rd party suppliers

- End to end project lifecycle experience

It would be nice if you also have:

- Relevant professional qualification in analysis disciplines, such as BCS modules/diploma

- Experience of working with a the Rational suite of products

- Financial services knowledge

- Mentoring and coaching skills

What you'll be doing

Your aim will be to ensure Nationwide obtains the best value, and that the solution delivers excellent customer service.

You'll motivate and lead a team of Business Analysts to deliver high quality business analysis services in line with the Society's and Industry-wide standards. You will be responsible for the delivery of analysis estimates and services to time, and cost; ensuring that quality standards are met on all outputs throughout the project lifecycle. Your leadership may be across several projects or programmes depending on the complexity.

Your leadership skills and strong foundation in business analysis methods and process improvement will not only enable you to challenge scope and shape projects, but identify the correct analysis services to be employed to ensure the successful delivery of each project.

Role responsibilities:

- Working on complex projects or programmes you'll help identify and articulate risks and issues, providing timely updates to project and programme managers and your leaders within the Business Analysis Practice

- Lead a number of Business Analysts in all aspects of delivery ensuring you take accountability for the quality & adherence to standards

- Help shape and drive Business Analysis at Nationwide through the continuous improvement & transformation of our Practice.
