Pitney Bowes an industry leader in customer communication technologies is seeking to recruit an experienced Salesforce Administrator to play a key role in the Global Sales Management System Centre of Excellence.

The Salesforce.com Administrator is a key liaison between Sales and Marketing teams in the business unit and the central support team. They are the first level of support for the business and will demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the functionality of Salesforce.com, how the business uses SFDC and data governance for objects used. They are also responsible for ensuring the data quality for the business unit, and its European-wide remit.

Role Accountabilities

- Provide first line of support to business by managing application and data cases and perform all user administration tasks - new users, Account movement, etc...

- Validate Accounts for the business by using the data administration tools to de-dupe, apply DUNS information, ensure Business unit-specific fields are populated where required and populate link to Enterprise Account if necessary

- Work with business enhancement and regression testers to understand expected outcomes and functionality of existing processes and new enhancements.

- Participate in the global data governance meetings to provide feedback on global data changes and enforce the GSFA standards for data quality.

- Understand Salesforce analytics and assist with creating reports and dashboards for the business. Understand the functionality of C9 and assist the business with running reports.

- Understand the sales and marketing processes and functionality of all objects used by the business and what the workflows, validations and triggers on those objects do (functionality, not technical development).

- Work with Learning and Development to launch & train on all new functionality and to support post-launch with coaching sessions where required.

- Communicate effectively with end users, sales and marketing management, global sales operations, tech central and vendors when needed.

Experience:

- Functional understanding of SFDC including objects, fields, sales and marketing processes and analytics (SFDC Certified Administrator ADM 201 is highly desirable)

- Proven experience in working permanently within an organisation as a Salesforce.com Administrator

Good understanding of sales and marketing processes

- Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio & be able to read Apex and Visualforce code
