We have a fantastic opportunity for a talented website content-writer and budding creative designer to join our amazing Communications team, helping to raise awareness about our work by keeping our website looking great as well as creating exciting promotional materials following templates that have been provided by our external design company, with whom you will liaise.

This is an exciting brand new role, joining our team at a time of growth and development for Canine Partners. You will be passionate about changing people’s lives and proud to be part of our wider extended family. This role is based at our Southern Training Centre near Midhurst and forms an important part of our Communications team.

You will be responsible for overseeing the content of our website and those elements of creative design that do not require our external design company’s input, including:

- Maintaining and updating the Charity’s website, including news, events, blogs etc

- Producing new content and contributing to new features for the website, ensuring consistency of style and brand

- Playing a vital role as we move over to a new website (exciting times!)

- Designing and creating eye-catching fundraising materials and adverts for print and online, liaising closely with our external design company

Key requirements for this role are:

- Proven knowledge and experience of website management

- Ability to write creative online copy using style and imagery that are easily accessed and understood

- Excellent literacy skills and eye for detail

- A flair for design and experience of using design packages

- Excellent communication (verbal & written), IT and administrative skills

- Ability to plan, prioritise and manage projects, work under pressure to deadlines and without close supervision
