Position Summary:

The primary responsibility of this position is to act as a Techno-Functional Business Support Analyst on our Oracle R12 Plan to Build and Procure to Pay modules and surrounding services. This position must work closely with a cross functional team within IT and also with the business users in the areas of Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Purchasing, Inventory Management, Finance and eCommerce. The successful candidate will provide an exceptional level of customer service and maintain well documented systems, processes and knowledge library. To do this, they will work closely with and provide leadership and guidance for the onshore + offshore team of external consultants supporting the EBS suite.

The position reports to the Head of IT Europe.

Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities:

Accountable for the production support of Oracle EBS ERP business applications focusing on the Supply Chain Management area and related services.

Provide system and customer support to users including escalated issue resolution.

Accurately repair and document changes to the system as assigned.

Responsible for meeting with key business users to understand business needs and strategy

Understands business requests and designs technology solutions to address business needs, balancing tradeoffs in cost, quality, and ability to meet business needs, working with external and internal IT and business partners to develop, test and implement solutions within timeline and budget

Project management of key technology projects

Manages contractors, consultants, and outsourced teams in the delivery of information technology support and change

Articulates benefits of the application of information technology to key business management and users

Stays abreast of latest technology and regularly reviews potential paths of change with IT management

Follows, practices, and champions ITIL standards and processes

Education, Training and Work Experience

A proven track record of working within IT solutions development preferably in medium to large corporate environments

Significant experience of working with Oracle EBS Applications, ideally R12, and specifically:

Strong experience with Oracle e-Business Suite especially P2P and P2B modules including;

o Purchasing, Inventory Management, WIP, BOM, Global Order Promising, Shipping, Configurator,

Experience with Oracle technologies:

o Oracle EBS development tools (PL/SQL, workflow, etc…)

o Oracle Database and Application Server

o PL/SQL and Oracle tools

o HP-Linux

Technical knowledge of Oracle Application technology including SQL, PL/SQL, TOAD, Oracle Applications tables (this would be advantageous)

Experience in the following business disciplines preferred:

Distribution / Inventory Management, Purchasing, Shipping, Warehouse management processes

Experience or training in ITIL preferred

Understanding of multi-organization and multi-currency functionality and their impact on complex business scenarios

Strong business analysis skills, process mapping, business process redesign and implementation

Full understanding of systems development life cycle and processes

Educated to degree level (or equivalent) preferably in a technical field

Strong project management experience

Extremely well organized with the ability to plan and schedule work

Active team member but able to work autonomously

Great communicator - Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong Analytical and Problem-solving skills and an innovative mindset

Ability to establish and maintain solid business relationships and work effectively with senior business and client contacts

Ability to communicate business needs to technical people and to communicate and simplify complex technical information for non-technical people
