The City of London Corporation provides a dedicated service to the City, from essential infrastructure maintenance to strategic economic development as well as carrying out the normal functions of a local authority.

The City Surveyor’s Department manages all activities relating to commercial and operational property and related construction owned by the City of London Corporation. The Corporation has investment property extending to 20% of the City and extensive areas of the West End and mid-town. This is an exciting opportunity to get involved in an important business role within this department.

We are looking for an experienced and motivated individual who will play a key role in supporting the department continuously develop by undertaking business improvement projects, process change as well as develop our communication strategy. As a vital member of the City Surveyor’s team with an awareness of the corporate agenda, you will contribute to the development of our business.

You will have a demonstrable experience in developing businesses processes and guidance, project management and change management and your ability to engage effectively with staff at all levels will need to be equally complemented by excellent planning, organising and problem solving skills. Additionally you will have an in depth knowledge of Microsoft portfolio as well as the skills to manage communications using SharePoint, HTML, and Social Media tools.

The preferred qualification is a degree in an appropriate field or an equivalent professional qualification, although applicants that demonstrate comparable skills knowledge and experience will be given serious consideration.
