Web Developer

I am in search of an excellent Web Developer to join a government administration company based in London, to help them transform their digital services.

You will be working in the web team designing, building and testing user-focused interfaces for their website and digital services. Your UI design and front-end development skills should be excellent, as should your commitment to usability and accessibility.

Web Developer - London - £40,000 to £45,000

Responsibilities:

* Design and develop user-focused, accessible web interfaces for a variety of digital platforms and services, ensuring they meet internal, governmental, W3C and WAI guidelines

* Produce a high standard of HTML5 and CSS3 in ways that do not disadvantage users of less featured browsers

* Use front-end libraries (such as jQuery, Modernizr and Grunt) and integrate plug-ins to deliver a rich experience while ensuring accessibility through progressive enhancement.

Knowledge & experience:

* Portfolio of successfully completed user interface design and development projects

* Excellent front-end development skills in HTML5 and CSS3. Solid experience of JavaScript and jQuery

* Significant experience with Adobe Creative Suite design software (Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks), and development tools such as Dreamweaver/Sublime Text
