Our vision is to make Lloyds Banking Group the best bank for customers. As the UK's largest retail and commercial bank, we have a footprint that touches nearly every community and household in the UK. That gives us a big responsibility to support the UK economy, and to put customers at the heart of everything we do. To achieve this, we also need to be the best bank for our colleagues and our communities - and we have a clear strategy in place to make this a reality. We are building on our many strengths: iconic brands, strong heritages and great people. To unlock the great potential in our business, we are becoming more efficient, more transparent, and more responsive to customers. Already the UK's largest community investor, we are giving even more back. Above all, we are putting customers first.

Our Information Security teams are an essential part of keeping the Group and customers safe. As part of our journey to improve our Information Security offering we have recently created a brand new team with a specific remit to improve the Group's approach to Data Loss Prevention. To become the Best Bank for Customers we need to ensure that the Data we hold on customers is protected and that we mitigate Risks in regards to this. We also need to ensure we protect sensitive Commercial Data.

To achieve this, we are increasing the capacity of this area to ensure we can monitor these issues moving forward whilst also introducing Symantec Enforce Tools to support this. Not only will you protect the Group from Customer/ Commercial Data Leakage but also from Spam - a 50% reduction was achieved last year alone helping us run a more productive operation.

You will be technically aware, able to security monitor systems and respond to any incidents as they arise. Ideally, with aspirations to become CISSP qualified you will be keen to develop your career in Information Security. You will have some coding experience which will allow you to pick up Rule-based Languages used within the proprietary tools used in this area.

You will demonstrate knowledge of the below:

-Symantec Enforce

-Messagelabs

-Ironport

-Q Radar

-Splunk

-Policy Development

-Familiarisation with Encryption and analysing Configuration Files

In return, you will join a team which is a true development in Information Security for the Group and more widely - a specific focus missing from many of our competitors. This is an opportunity to join a supportive environment and benefit from a package you would expect from the Uk's biggest Bank.
