The future of tax is digital. This is your chance to play a part in a groundbreaking new initiative with HMRC, the UK’s taxation administration.

At HMRC, it is our vision to eventually run all UK tax regimes on the SAP platform. This means our customers will benefit from a host of new digital services. Right now, we are engaged in the £multi-million development of our SAP estate. You will be part of our SAP Customer Competency Centre, which is responsible for all SAP delivery and operations. Service applications span everything from financial management and governance, to performance and improvement.

Providing vital programme management office support, you’ll enjoy a range of responsibilities. You’ll manage risks, issues, dependencies and constraints for a number of projects. We’ll look to you to ensure the products or services delivered meet our high quality criteria. As well as providing accurate, detailed progress reports, you’ll support the Communications Manager by drafting, updating and publishing information about the Customer Competency Centre. Along the way, you’ll work closely with stakeholders, assist in workshops, and deputise for the PMO Manager.

To join us, you’ll need relevant professional project/programme experience, working in a fast paced environment. Ideally, you’ll have a recognised qualification in project or change management, such as PPSO, PRINCE2, MPS or APMPQ. If you don’t have such a qualification, you must be willing to participate in an accreditation process. A collaborative individual, you demonstrate good decision making skills and a commitment to delivering successful change and improvement.

Besides the clear professional rewards, you can look forward to the civil service pension scheme and a good work/life balance.
