The Database Security team play a key role in ensuring regulatory compliance and protecting Lloyds Banking Group against threats.

You will take a lead role, shaping, developing and executing the Database Activity Monitoring service within LBG, ensuring that compliance and access policies have been adhered to.

You will be CISSP/ CISMP qualified (or equivalent) with the below technical understanding:

- Knowledge and experience with Activity Monitoring Tools (McAfee Database Monitoring Tool is a distinct advantage.

- Knowledge and understanding of Insider Threat and how this can be detected within the McAfee toolset.

- Knowledge of the functional requirements of a real-time monitoring service.

Technical knowledge/awareness of Database Platforms (SQL, Oracle, DB2 etc) and awareness of the following principles:

- Structured query language

- Extension to SQL

- Concepts and definition of a relational database

- DB objects and architecture.

- Knowledge of related Infrastructure Platforms (Windows, Unix)

- Experience in delivering security projects and / or computer security incident recoveries

- Proven systematic and analytical approach to specific security issues or events coupled with good stakeholder management to work to keep stakeholders informed whist issues are resolved.
