About the role
The Aster Group IT Team delivers a proactive, forward thinking support service across the group and we’re looking for two talented, motivated and positive Business Systems Analysts to join our Team.
The Business Systems team operates as part of the Group IT team, supporting, implementing and driving change in the use of technology for the benefit of the business. Our aim is to provide a consultative service to the business, helping to identify innovative ways to improve business and system efficiency and quality, improving service to Aster Group customers and adding value to the organisation through the use of technology.
About you
The successful candidate will able to demonstrate significant RDBMS support and administration (SQL server platforms) and have extensive experience working within IT in a systems administration role.
With broad experience gained across multi-platform installations and projects, you will understand how to explain technology to colleagues in simple, jargon-free terms and have the technical skills to turn business requirements into technology solutions.
You will be an innovative thinker, understand how technology can help make our working lives easier and will be good at understanding how business processes affect the choices we make for our use of technology. You’ll have excellent communication skills and the ability to talk to a diverse audience, including people without a technical background. Above all you’ll be an enthusiastic person, able to think broadly about solutions, engaging people and improving systems across the board in an exciting, growing organisation.
