An exciting opportunity for a Senior Business Analyst has arisen within the Systems and Tool’s team of our Intelligence Directorate.

This is a newly formed team working within the Information & Systems department, responsible for delivering new systems, tools and architecture for Intelligence.

A key role of a Senior Business Analyst is to work within complex business change or continuous improvement projects to understand the business needs, offer credible analysis, recommend solutions and be a conduit for translation between the business and the designed solutions.

Reporting to the Systems and Tools Manager, you will act as a key champion for the business change function and Subject Matter Expert (SME) on the business requirements and business process during the period of change. You will be accountable for managing conflicting views on requirements and undertake sensitive, sometimes difficult conversations with discretion.

We are looking for an individual with exceptional knowledge and experience of process modelling and process design methods, introducing new business processes into organisation.

You will need to be at least a PRINCE 2 practitioner, with sufficient experience to lead an end to end Intelligence focused programme, from scoping via proof of concept, to development and delivery, with robust benefits realisation and mapping to corporate risk and business plans.

The post also requires an understanding of delivery stage gate frameworks via governance and procurement including OJEC tender.

Your ability to build strong working relationships with senior stakeholders and experience of delivering analysis in a programme and large setting are crucial for success in this role.
